Rebuild of JellyBlast v3.0.3 from Galaxy Young, and Officially support OTA Updates

Main Features:

Known Bugs(s):

• Sometimes the phone always restarting, try cor plenus 2.0 or latest PX-kernel or don't use custom kernel because stock kernel is very stable :D, 

Troubleshooting:

• If u already using the Cor Plenus kernel 2.0.2 and your phone always restarting, remove the 07setvm scripts on system/etc/init.d using file explorer/root explorer, then restart your phone

Installation 

Power off your phone.

Go to recovery mode by pressing volume up+power+home.

Select "Update zip from SD card".

Select CWM for GT-S5570i. Now you're in Clockworkmod.

Use the volume keys to move up and down.

Wipe data and cache and Dalvik cache.

Now choose: Install zip from sd card.

Choose the file s5570i-JBlastv303.signed.zip

Choose "yes"

Wait until finished and  reboot your phone. First boot will take time. Be patient.

If you have followed EVERYTHING above carefully, you will soon boot up to your new rom. Please wait until media scanning is completed.

Reboot again go to recovery, go to CWM and flash Cor Plenus Kernel

This guide for GT-S5570i/GT-S5360 maybe.

Requirements:

-Rooted phone

-File Explorer (root explorer is recommended)

Tutorial:

- First, open the root explorer.. go to system/usr/keylayout and tap the Mount R/W box at top right Root Explorer until it changed to Mount R/O

- Next, search the file named  sec_keypad.kl and tap/longpress that file, select open with text editor (scroll down)

- You will see this line

key 102   HOME            

key 139   MENU              

key 107   POWER             WAKE

key 115   VOLUME_UP

key 114   VOLUME_DOWN

- Now, add WAKE beside HOME and VOLUME_UP, like this

key 102   HOME WAKE

key 139   MENU              

key 107   POWER             WAKE

key 115   VOLUME_UP WAKE

key 114   VOLUME_DOWN

- Save changes, and reboot.. it's work for me

Known bug(s):

• FC on some apps like JB search, link2sd in every booting. You can remove that apps.

Installation

1. Extract the .rar file to your computer

2. There is a 2 files .zip named : ROM-JPV3Port-fahmi.signed.zip and JPV3Update1.signed.zip (optional)

3. Place the above files to your sdcard, Power off your phone then go to cwm recovery mode

4. Do wipe data and cache partition

5. Install zip from sdcard, choose  ROM-JPV3Port-fahmi.signed.zip, if finished, reboot your phone.

6. Wait until 5 minutes or more.

7. Done, you will see the JellyBlast v3 on your phone :D please wait after media scanning is completed.

Note:

- JPV3Update1.signed.zip is optional, u can use it if u want after installed the ROM
- Use stock kernel before installing this rom.
- If u have custom kernel and using a2sd/link2sd remove it before installing this rom and don't use the partition sdcard.
after installing the rom, u can use all of them (partitioning sdcard, a2sd, etc).

Installation

Android : [How To] Porting Custom Rom

Sorry, english post will be updated soon :)

Penting :

- Tidak semua custom rom bisa di port dengan cara ini termasuk galye, sebelum ngeport mending cek dulu ke updater scriptnya, disitu biasanya ada beberapa baris script yg bikin bootloop/soft brick. Misalnya di zello rom, disitu updater scriptnya ada perintah yg langsung makein/ngeformat partisi ke 2 dari sdcard, sedangkan sdcard kita belum kita partisi.. kan berabe jadinya .. jadi sebelum ngeport perhatiin dulu updater scriptnya.. selanjutnya masuk tahan replacing, baru deh installing.

- Sebaiknya agan buat kopian dari custom romnya jadi misalkan file zip custom rom yg pertama gagal gara2 salah langkah, masih ada kopiannya

Bahan + Syaratnya :

- PC/Laptop yg winrar/winzip/7zipnya udah diinstall

- Punya fresh backupan stock rom (caranya ente flashing dulu ke stock rom > root > backup via cwm)

- Ngeport lebih baik dari hardware & pixel screen yg sama ( ex: BCM21553 & Layar sama2 LDPI 240x320px/QVGA )

- ROM yg mau di port

- Kernel device kita (khusus untuk ngeport rom yg ada kernelnya)

Caranya:

Ambil backupan stock rom agan yang di sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/nama backupan (terdiri atas urutan angka & titik) pindahin ke Desktop PC agan

Buka folder backupan agan yg di desktop tadi, ekstrak system.rfs.tar nya ntar ada folder baru namanya system, masuk ke folder itu terus ambil file+folder2 ini :

system/app/camera.apk (file) -> camera.apknya yg udah deodexed

system/csc/contes.db dan csc/customer.xml (file)

system/etc/bluetooth (folder)

system/etc/permission (folder)

system/etc/ppp (folder)

system/etc/wifi (folder)

system/etc/vold.fstab (file)

system/lib (folder)

system/usr (folder)

system/CSCVersion.txt (file)

oh iya, jangan lupa ambil apk keyboard bawaan dari stockrom/hp agan.

Untuk G. Pop plus, keypad sama camera yg udah di deodex bisa download disini

Bikin folder baru, namain aja "porting" di desktop. Pindahin file+folder2 diatas tadi to "porting" folder.

Buka file zip dari custom romnya, klik kanan pilih open with, baru pilih winrar/winzip/7zip tar kan kebuka, nah disitu kalo ada boot.imgnya agan replace aja pake custom kernel dari device kita or dihapus juga bisa sih tapi ane nyaranin di replace aja, kalo gak ada ya gak usah di masukin boot.img ya. Drag folder2 + file2 tadi yg ada di folder "porting" ke file zip dari custom rom yg mau di port dan pastiin directory antar file bener ngereplacenya.

Ingat, file zip si custom rom yg mau di port jgn diesktrak terus file ekstrakannya di replace terus ente zip ulang .. itu salah, yg bener itu langsung agan dragging file2 portingannya ke custom romnya langsung.

Abis tahap replacing, agan masukin tuh custom rom ke sdcard, baru deh di flash dengan resiko masing2.

Silahkan dicoba :) banyak yg udah coba + work kok, yang penting ini untuk Galaxy Y Rom (GT-S5360) ke Galaxy Pop Plus Rom (GT-S5570I)

Untuk porting rom Galaxy Mini (GT-S5570I) ke adiknya alias mini plus, mungkin agak beda.. jadi cara ini sih 100% insya Allah work kalo ngeportnya dari Galaxy Y.

Oke cukup sampe disini dulu, mau tanya2? respon cepet? mention aja di twit/add fb ane .. soalnya ane ngurus ini blog cuma 2 orang.. dan ane lagi ujian mid semester ._.v

7. If u have a creed 3.5 (ported by yourself) u can use this theme Creed 3.5 ICS Theme

Got a bootloop/soft brick? try another firmware like DXLF2, XXLC3, or IXXLD6 (not compatible with some kernel)

How to Install ? :

1. Put the cusrom file to sdcard
2. Reboot your phone into recovery mode
3. Flash it via CWM ( where's cwm recovery for pop plus? just ask uncle google or search on my blog, okay? )
4. Wipe data and cache, reboot
5. Wait until < 3-5-7-9 minutes
6. After showing Homescreen and scanning Sdcard, install the flashable fix one by one from CWM Recovery:
   
   • Accelerometer first
   • G,C,M Fix is 2nd
   • Jester font is optional

Installation:

1. Download the custom rom file and cwm via PC or your phone
2. Move/Copy it to sdcard
3. Power Off the Phone
4. Boot into recovery by pressing (Vol. Key Up + Home Key + Power Key)
5. Select Wipe Data and Wipe Cache
6. Select apply update from sdcard
7. Select CWM_Update
8. Select install zip from sdcard
9. Choose the custom rom file.zip
10. Wait until finish
11. Reboot your phone!!!!
12. Booting time maybe 10-15 minutes..
13. Done

A. You must open rootex and go to /system/app/. And then install again S3Live.apk

Q. Why if i using cyanogen lockscreen and i charge my phone, my phone always bootloop?
A. This is a bug. You can use another lockscreen

A. You can flash with Stock Firmware

Q. Is it Support Link2sd?
A. This default rom same as begginer user, just install if u prefer link2sd and don't install a2sd

A. ApkReplacer is updated to new version, u can replace apk. Just put your file in /sdcard/.SystemReplacer using Root Explorer or File Manager

A. Open set cpu v3 and chose ondemand - sio with min 312 freq and max 624

Q. How to deactive the vibrate while key phrase on ICS keyboard
A. Open Settings --> Locale text --> Ice Cream Sandwitch keyboard free settings and unchek vibrate on key-press

Open your build.prop (longpress~>open with~>text editor) in /system with root explorer (don't forget to mounted as r/w)

3. Tick reduce texture quality (32bit to 16 bit)

4. Then, start your game
